FAQs
Bespoke Prints and Artwork
What's the difference between ready-to-buy and bespoke illustrated prints?
A ready-to-buy illustrated print is pre-designed and perfect if you're after a thoughtful, affordable gift (or a little treat for yourself!) and need something a little quicker.
If you're looking for something completely personal and one-of-a-kind, a bespoke commission is the perfect option. Each bespoke print is hand-drawn especially for you, making it a truly unique keepsake or gift.
How does the bespoke order process work?
I open a limited number of bespoke commissions each month to make sure every piece gets the time, care and attention it deserves.
When ordering, simply choose the commission option that feels right for you, complete the short questionnaire with all your ideas and place your order. The more details, photos or inspiration you can share, the better!
Once I've reviewed everything, I'll begin creating your artwork in my signature style.
If you choose to add a sketch preview, I'll send over the initial pencil drawing before colour is added, giving you the chance to request any small tweaks. Once approved, your artwork will be professionally printed, carefully packaged and sent your way.
As commission spaces are limited, some options may occasionally sell out. If this happens, you can join the waitlist to hear first when new spaces become available.
Can I request edits to my bespoke print?
Yes, but only if you've selected the sketch preview option at checkout.
This gives you the opportunity to view and approve the pencil sketch before colour is added. You're welcome to request any minor edits at this stage and I'll send over an updated version. Any additional edits after this will be charged at £20.
If you have a very specific vision in mind, I'd always recommend being as detailed as possible in your questionnaire. Feel free to send over photos, inspiration images or even a rough sketch of your ideal composition.
If I'm unsure about anything, I'll always get in touch via email before moving forward.
What sizes of artwork do you offer?
All artworks are available in:
• A4 (297 × 210 mm)
• A3 (420 × 297 mm
What materials do you use?
All artwork is digitally hand-drawn by me using Procreate on my iPad.
Each piece is professionally printed on soft white, slightly textured cotton paper (280 gsm) using archival pigment inks to create vibrant, long-lasting colours that stand the test of time.
Do you offer framing?
Not just yet, but it's something I'd love to offer in future, so watch this space!
Orders, Payment and Delivery
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
I accept changes or cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order. After this point, production may have already started.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! You can spread the cost of your artwork using Klarna instalments, making bespoke artwork a little more flexible and affordable.
When can I expect my order?
Ready to buy prints: usually arrive within 5 working days.
Bespoke commissions: please allow up to 30 working days from the date of purchase, as each piece is created especially for you.
If you need it for a special date let me know when ordering and I'll do my best to help, although I can't guarantee deadlines!
Will I receive tracking information?
You'll receive shipping updates once your order has been dispatched. Tracking may vary depending on the shipping service selected.
How will my artwork be packaged?
All prints are carefully packaged in biodegradable protective sleeves and posted in sturdy cardboard-backed envelopes to help them arrive safely.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or there's an issue with your print, please get in touch at katie.robins.art@gmail.com and I'll do my best to put things right!
